Here at BKP, we are committed to providing the best available techniques to ensure the safest, easiest and quickest disposal of waste. As a result, we are constantly making investments in the latest waste treatment technology – one of these is our centrifuge machine.
Used to separate different materials that comprise the same object, a centrifuge is the ideal equipment to use to treat large volumes of waste. A centrifuge works by placing the object into rotation around a fixed axis, spinning it in a circle – the force that’s applied will be perpendicular to the axis of the spin.
This works to create ‘the sedimentation principle’; the acceleration of the machine will cause dense materials to move outwards, towards the ends of the centrifuge, whilst the less dense materials are displaced and moved to the centre. In waste treatment, a centrifuge effectively separates the dense solids from the less dense liquids.
How We Treat Waste With Our Centrifuge Machine
Providing a solution in treating heavy sludges and difficult waste streams, the force exuded by our centrifuge system provides waste volume reduction on a much larger scale than a WRDS (Waste Management Reduction and Dewatering System). This makes for a more effective treatment solution. Through a decanter centrifuges’ introduction of polymers, the separating of liquids and the suspension of solids can be achieved at an extraordinary 30m3 an hour – producing a cake that can be used in a bioremediation process (making the waste ready for easy and safe disposal).
Our centrifuge machine can deal with both hazardous or non-hazardous oily sludges, and the speed of it can be controlled remotely until the optimisation of the waste stream, that’s being treated, is achieved. Not only does our centrifuge enable a large volume of waste to be kept out of landfill, but it also helps to improve our carbon footprint through the reduction of our vehicular use before, and after, treatment.
As ours is only one of very few licensed
hazardous waste transfer stations in the entirety of Southern England, we can
continue to provide clients old and new with more options to quickly and
effectively remove, treat and dispose of their waste. This keeps the wider
environment safe for the future as a result.
Choose BKP For A Wide Range of Professional Waste Management Services
Having been operating within the waste management industry for over five decades, we have built up a leading service in the South East that is able to investigate and treat domestic, commercial or industrial waste issues. Regardless of the type of waste materials involved, we have a proven experience of effectively treating all waste issues that have arisen in any type of setting.
Our strive to include innovative waste treatment solutions, such as a centrifuge machine, in our services is partly the reason why we’ve been able to thrive. We are constantly changing and adapting our services to fit new technologies, trends and legislations in order to be in the right position to offer our clients the most comprehensive waste management services around.
Another factor of why we’ve been able to establish an industry-leading business is our approach to client relations. Dealing with waste management can be difficult work – both literally and figuratively. Removing waste and correctly disposing of it is subject to government legislation, so ensuring that it is managed professionally and to the letter of the law is of the utmost importance.
This is why no part of our work is undertaken without us informing our clients of the works we’re performing, why we’re performing them and how much the entire service will cost, with no extra fees involved. We are here to simply make the process of cleaning, treating, disposing and recycling waste materials easy and quick for you. So why not get in touch with our expert team to learn more?
